Junior Achievement started right here in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1919 and we are gearing up for our 100th Anniversary in 2019.
Locally, in Western Massachusetts, JA reaches over 11,000 students every year in grades K-12 inspiring them to Own Their Future. Our volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential. With the help of our volunteers, JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21st-century global marketplace.
We are always asked, “how are you funded?” and the answer is through personal and corporate giving, fundraisers, and grants. And the truth is, we cannot do it without you!
Won’t you join the 100th Anniversary Club? Simply donate $100 a year for three years. Just click the Donate button to begin the process. Your account will be charged $100 this year and again in 2018 and 2019.
Thank you for your help in continuing the legacy of Junior Achievement in Western Massachusetts, the birthplace of JA.
