The Horace A. Moses Legacy Breakfast

It all starts here

April 11, 2014, 7:30AM - 9:00AM, The Log Cabin, Holyoke, MA

Since it's inception in 1919 in Springfield, MA, Junior Achievement has been steadfast in it's commitment to ensure that every child is inspired and prepared to succeed in the workforce and in life.

For over 94 years, Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts has "taught young people how business works."

JA is the premier volunteer organization that brings together business people and educators, to help prepare our youth to compete in a global marketplace and to develop the skills necessary for the workplace: problem-solving, teamwork and decision making.

The demand for JA's programs is even greater than we can fulfill. Last year 9,061 students in our local area participated in JA programs.

In 1919 JA had: A budget of $200,000.00, 5 full-time staff members, and served 100 students. In 2011 JA had: A budget of $400,000.00, 2 full-time and 2 part-time staff members, 450 Volunteers donating 69,534 hours, and served 10,009 students in 79 schools in 31 school districts. We are a non-profit organization depending on grants, fundraising events, and the generous donations of individuals and organizations.

Junior Achievement of Western MA will be hosting The Horace A. Moses JA Legacy Breakfast, at The Log Cabin Banquet and Meeting House. This is a free to attend fundraiser, providing you the opportunity to learn more about Junior Achievement and the great programs we offer to the students of Western MA. We will be asking for contributions, with no minimum or maximum gift. It's our job to inspire you to want to give.

For more information, or to register as an attendee please contact Jennifer Connolly at (413) 747-7670 ext 106 or by email.
