Job Shadow Day
Local students visit busniesses to learn all about careers
February 02, 2007
Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts has completed another successful Job Shadow Day. JA partnered with the Berkshire Regional Employment Board, Springfield School to Career, Chicopee School to Career and Ware Public Schools to have more than 1,200 local western Massachusetts students attend Job Shadow day on February 2, 2007.
Through Job Shadow we introduce students to careers through one-day, on-site orientations or through more extensive internships. Either way, it’s an authentic work-world experience for the students … enhanced with classroom preparatory and follow-up activities.
JA Job Shadow takes students into the workplace to learn about careers.
