TD BANKNORTH SUPPORTS JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT

[Pittsfield, MA] Recently the TD Banknorth Charitable Foundation presented Donald Wesson, President of Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts and Maria Caccaviello, Director of JA for Berkshire County a check for $10,000 to support JA programs in Berkshire County and the Pioneer Valley.

For the past three years TD Banknorth has sponsored all of the JA “Ourselves” programs in Kindergartens throughout western Massachusetts, impacting over 800 children annually. In addition TD Banknorth volunteers teach JA classes in local schools including Silvio O. Conte Community School and Morningside Community School in Pittsfield as well as schools in the greater Springfield area. This year TD Banknorth volunteers donated over 200 hours to helping local children learn about “how business works.”
