Stock Market Competition
Inspiring the future financial leaders of tomorrow
The Stock Market Competition Goes Virtual in 2020!
Junior Achievement is once again very excited to host the JA Stock Market Competition; however, due to the constraints of the current pandemic, JAWM worked with Future Financiers to create a Virtual Stock Market Competition for 2020.
October 1–16, 2020: Teachers conduct in-class competitions on futurefinanciers.com with the goal of determining the top two student teams (4 students to a team) per class. Teachers will have access to the newly developed JA Take Stock in Your Future online program for teaching about the stock market.
Thursday, October 29, 12pm: The Ultimate Virtual JA Stock Market Competition. Top 20 student teams compete against business sponsor teams and teams from area colleges.

What is the Stock Market Competition?
High school students explore what it takes to succeed on Wall Street during the largest single-day Student Stock Market Competition in North America.
In this high-tech stock market simulation, student teams are “given” $1,000,000 to invest in over 50 fictitious stocks. With trading days lasting just 60 seconds, the goal is to build the highest portfolio net worth in a frantic 60 “days.”
Sponsoring businesses are encouraged to field their own teams for the Ultimate Virtual JA Stock Market Competition.
